It seems like us technical people have it really good with all the tooling at our disposal but tooling for non-technical people is somehow lagging behind? Am I mistaken? What are people using and how?
My very non-technical partner, who is a chef, uses ChatGPT to correct emails and develop menus.
I am quite technical, but one non-technical use is I am writing a radio play with an AI assist (ironically too, since AI and its online portrayal is a major part the story itself). I am not having it write it for me, as some automagically assume happens exclusively with AI, but to ensure flow, plot development, consistency, and ensure ideas don't get started and then forgotten. I have it asking me questions as a student trying to understand the play.
It's also very good at identifying places where an initial idea can make a reappearance and develop.
